Farebar Bagherpour
Farebar Bagherpor, an Iranian American designer, founded the brand Farebar to merge his cultural heritage with fashion. Inspired by Iranian culture, history, and art, Farebar combines traditional Ghalamkar fabric with vintage military and streetwear elements. Each piece is hand-sewn, dyed, and printed in Los Angeles, CA, embodying passion and craftsmanship.
Farebar’s love for textiles began in childhood, shopping with his mother in Ypsilanti, Michigan. At 14, he started collecting and selling vintage sports merchandise. A 2010 trip to Iran, particularly Isfahan, deepened his creative curiosity. This inspired him to study fashion, textile, and graphic design, honing his skills in screen printing and sewing.
After moving to California for college and gaining industry experience, Farebar opened his creative studio in Los Angeles on March 1, 2020. Committed to sustainability, the Farebar brand reflects his Iranian heritage through rich colors, quality fabrics, and military/workwear silhouettes. Each handmade piece tells a part of Farebar’s story, inviting customers to share in his journey.
